Organization
The project consisted of the 9 workpackages named according
to their goal within the project.
Some of these workpackages were research and development oriented while others
provided infrastructure and support. Each project partner participated actively
in several workpackages. All project workpackages cooperated closely -
see the corresponding Pert diagram.
WP1: Model development was needed by most workpackages.
WP2: Workgroup support provided the basis for cooperative work;
it provided materials for training partners in using this support,
and then provided service in Data Mining and Decision Support.
The two specific workpackages WP5 Data Mining and WP6 Decision Support
for solving industrial problems were also based on end-user and expert club management.
In addition, WP5, WP6, WP7 Combining Data Mining and Decision Support with Information Systems
provided reports and materials to be included in an open information source on the web.
WP3: Development of an open information source on the web was also
for use in seminars, training and distance learning.
WP4: Development and organization of seminars, training and distance learning.
The End-user club and Expert club obtained and provided information for the web (WP3) and attended seminars (WP4).
